General Shipping Information
When you place an order on your credit card will be charged and your order will be moved to a "Processing" status. All pre-orders are charged at the time the order is placed. In-stock orders normally ship within 1-2 business days. Receiving goods from our suppliers may take up to two (2) weeks. Subsequently your order will be shipped within 1-2 business days of receipt following inspection by our quality assurance team. Orders are shipped Monday to Friday, weekends and holidays excluded.
We ship all orders using Canada Post. Once shipped you will received an email containing the tracking number for your shipment. You will also be able to view your order status and tracking numbers in your account order history.
How much is shipping?
The cost of shipping depends on the size, weight, and destination of your order. During the checkout process you will see the shipping options and associated costs for the shipping address you fill in.
Will I have to pay customs fees on my order?
Orders shipped outside of Canada may incur customs fees upon delivery. Customs fees may include taxes, duties, process fees, brokerage fees, etc. Unfortunately, Ribbons2U has no control over the amount or assessment of these fees. If you are not familiar with the customs laws and fees in your country, please check with your local customs office for more information.
The shipping charges you pay to Ribbons2U do NOT include customs fees, import taxes, brokerage fees, or duties. Ribbons2U has no way of estimating the customs fees, taxes, duties, etc. that you may have to pay. Please contact your local customs office to obtain this information.
It is possible that the delivery of your order could be delayed due to customs processing. If your order does not arrive in a reasonable amount of time you should check with your local customs office to see if they are holding the package for payment of fees. Furthermore, some customs offices will send a separate invoice for your customs fees that could arrive several weeks after you receive your shipment. Please be familiar with the customs laws in your country before you order.
We pride ourselves in the prompt and efficient handling of your orders. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee delivery dates in the event of service interruptions or failures caused by events beyond our control such as, but not limited to, inclement weather, interruptions of our transportation systems or the services provided by our carriers or your bank or credit card company.
